I thought it would be. The best deals are probably found straight from the vineyards, but we didn't go to any. Something for next time!BillGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07799054043688593015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885268559999611072.post-7240907807690287612008-06-30T15:08:00.000+01:002008-06-30T15:08:00.000+01:00That souffle looks fantastic. How were wine prices elsewhere while in France?lisa is cookinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11880633141546012855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885268559999611072.post-89378007870696066712008-06-30T14:07:00.000+01:002008-06-30T14:07:00.000+01:00Ha Ha Ha. I should've had my eating pants on, because at the end I was about to burst. Great post guys, keep up the good work. And no offense on the redneck tag. I am basically from Kentucky anyway.KevinBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08968813190622856486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885268559999611072.post-42862369262351952132008-06-29T00:55:00.000+01:002008-06-29T00:55:00.000+01:00Daddy also used to plant fresh English peas in the...Daddy also used to plant fresh English peas in the Spring. He would plant them before time to plant cucumbers and they climbed the same fence as they would be through bearing when time to plant cucumbers. You are right son. Canned taste nothing like fresh. I would cream them with new potatoes at times as we would be getting new potatoes when the peas were ready. Yum!

As you could see from the pictures I sent Sharon my cucumbers are covering the fence this year.mom Gunterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12767301513017626996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885268559999611072.post-67340146622001267402008-06-28T23:56:00.000+01:002008-06-28T23:56:00.000+01:00Mom, I believe you tried to feed me canned peas, w...Mom, I believe you tried to feed me canned peas, which are nothing like fresh peas. Fresh peas are yummy, while canned peas smell bad and taste worse.BillGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07799054043688593015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7885268559999611072.post-38651824107102287222008-06-28T17:17:00.000+01:002008-06-28T17:17:00.000+01:00OOOPS! I could just see you four there. I always thought Kevin had a bit of redneck in him as the meals he had suggested. That is a compliment Kevin as Bill's dad was pretty much a redneck. I really got a kick out of Bill and his spring peas. I remember well when he was small and his dad and I made him eat his peas. He threw up at the table. We never made him finish his peas again.mom Gunterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12767301513017626996noreply@blogger.com
